Welcome to the blog of the Oklahoma Library and Information Studies Student Association (OLISSA). This blog is intended to facilitate communication between students of the University of Oklahoma’s School of Library and Information Studies (SLIS) and OLISSA. Throughout the course of this school year (and, hopefully, future ones, too), this blog will post announcements and information for SLIS students regarding OLISSA and SLIS events.

Commenting on posts is strongly encouraged. To do you, you must either sign in with your existing WordPress account or sign up for a new one. If you sign up for a new account, you will be emailed a link to activate your account. Once activated, you may comment to your heart’s content. A note of caution: the content of this blog will be visible to all comers (e.g. fellow students, SLIS faculty, OU administration, potential employers) so please post accordingly.
